Storing Your Peptides
Powdered Peptides
Store your powdered peptides in the freezer or refrigerator. Wait to reconstitute them until you are ready to use the vial.
SHELF LIFE: When stored in a refrigerator or freezer, lyophilized peptides can remain stable for up to two years. They can also be stored at room temperature for several weeks with only minimal degradation.
Reconstituted Peptides
Once reconstituted, peptides should be stored in the refrigerator to preserve their effectiveness.
SHELF LIFE: Reconstituted peptides can remain stable for up to 7 days without refrigeration, but it is best to keep them consistently cold to maintain their maximum potency. Typically, reconstituted peptides are stable for 3-6 months if stored properly in the refrigerator, and with good handling, they may remain effective for longer.
Nasal Sprays & Creams
Nasal Sprays & Cream peptides should be stored in the refrigerator to preserve their effectiveness.
SHELF LIFE: Nasal Sprays have a shelf life of 3 months after opening, up to 6 months when stored properly in the fridge. Creams have a shelf life of 6 months after opening. Both last up to 12 months if kept in the freezer .
Storage FAQs
Peptides should be stored in the refrigerator to maintain their potency. Protect them from light and heat, and avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Powdered Peptides – Shelf life is 2 years in powder form stored in the refrigerator or freezer. Can be left in room temperature for weeks with minimal degradation.
- Liquid Peptides – Once reconstituted, shelf life is 3-6 months if stored properly in the refrigerator, and with good handling, they may remain effective for longer. Can remain stable for up to 7 days without refrigeration, but it is best to keep them consistently cold to maintain their maximum potency.
- Nasal Sprays – Refrigerate after opening. Shelf life is 3-6 months when stored properly in the fridge. Can last up to 12 months if kept in the freezer before first use.
- Creams – Refrigerate after opening. Shelf life is 6 months refrigerated. Can last up to 12 months if kept in the freezer before first use.
It depends on how long the peptide was left out and whether it was in powder or liquid form. In general, most peptides remain stable at room temperature for several days—often up to 7 days or more—especially if kept away from heat and direct sunlight. If a peptide is left unrefrigerated for an extended period, it may begin to lose some potency, but it typically remains safe to use. The main risk is a gradual decrease in effectiveness rather than safety.
If this happens, just return the peptide to a cool, dry place (ideally the fridge) as soon as possible. If you're ever unsure whether your peptide is still effective or safe to use, feel free to reach out with the details—we’re happy to advise based on your specific situation. For best results, always store your peptides in the refrigerator when not in use.
All our peptide vials are measured to provide approximately a 4-5 week supply when following the standard dosing guidelines. However, some peptides - such as Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, Retatrutide, Melanotan, and Pentosan - are dosed individually based on patient goals and response, meaning vial duration for these peptides vary. More details for each individual peptide vial duration. can be found on the peptide product pages, and information & dosing guide sheets.
If you adjust your dosing schedule, your vial may last more or less than four weeks, depending on frequency and dose per injection. Minor variations in vial duration are expected and will not impact overall results, as long as the full mg contents are used over the intended period.
A vial lasting slightly more or less than four weeks is normal due to minor variations in dosing, syringe measurements, or human error. This does not affect your overall progress, as peptide therapy is designed to account for slight deviations while ensuring you receive the full mg dosage over time.
If you did not follow the standard dosing protocol, your vial will naturally last a different amount of time. If you believe there was a significant discrepancy with your vial, please contact us, and we can help assess your situation.
