Peptide Injection Guide
This guide is designed to help you access all the resources you need to draw up and inject your peptide medications.
Injection Instructions
- Clean and prepare your space. Wash your hands and sanitize your space.
- Gather your materials.
- Reconstituted Peptide(s) – Your peptide needs to be in liquid form prior to injection. If your peptide is still in powder form, reconstitute it prior to moving on. Reconstitution instructions can be found here.
- Injection Syringe – Injection syringes are included with every peptide order and can be found in your injection kit.
- Alcohol Wipes – Alcohol wipes are included with every peptide order and can be found in your injection kit.
- Dosing Instructions – Ensure you know what your peptide dose in units for each peptide you will be injecting. Dosing instructions can be found here, or by referring to the specific dose recommended by your provider.
- Select your injection site. Inject your peptides into subcutaneous fat. Common subcutaneous injection sites include:
- Upper Outer Arms
- Lower Abdomen (avoiding the area 2 inches around the navel)
- Upper Glutes
- Upper Outer Thighs
- Ensure you know the dose for each peptide you are injecting in units. You can find detailed dosing instructions for each peptide here. Follow these instructions unless otherwise specified by your provider.
- Draw up your peptide dose.
- Wipe the rubber tops of all peptide vials with an alcohol wipe. Allow them to air dry completely.
- Uncap your syringe and insert the needle into the first peptide vial.
- Turn the vial upside down, ensuring the needle tip is below the liquid level.
- Slowly pull back the plunger to draw desired amount of peptide. (Refer to the unit value of your dose).
- Remove the needle from the vial without touching the needle to any surface.
- Inject your peptide(s).
- Wipe the chosen injection site with an alcohol wipe. Allow to air dry.
- Pinch a small section of your skin to create a fold.
- Insert your syringe at a slight angle, ensuring you are getting into the subcutaneous fat.
- Slowly push in the plunger to inject the peptides.
- Once all medication is injected, carefully withdraw the syringe, and safely dispose of the needle (see below).
- Properly dispose of your syringe.
- Place the used syringe in a sharps container if accessible.
- If not, you can re-cap your syringes and place them in a safe container. You can dispose of your container of used syringes by returning it to our office at your next appointment or peptide pick up, so we can put it in our sharps container.
- You can also bring your used syringes to a local pharmacy or other sharps container near you.

* You can inject BPC + TB4 close to an injury site for more localized effects.
Once you know the units of the dose you are drawing up:
Instructions For Combining Peptides
- Balance the pressure inside of the peptide vial prior to drawing up. Find instructions and a video tutorial here.
- Draw up your first peptide dose as usual.
- Do not inject yet. Keep the syringe with the first peptide.
- Insert this syringe into the second vial. Draw up the next peptide’s required dosing into the same syringe.
- Repeat for additional peptides. Continue adding peptides until you have all your doses combined in one syringe.
Example:
If you are prescribed 20 units each of BPC-157, TB4, and GHK-Cu, your syringe will have a total of 60 units. This way, you only need one injection instead of three.
Tips:
- Inject your mixed peptides within a few minutes of drawing them up. Do not preload the syringes and let them sit.
- Ensure the peptides in your syringe are clear and not cloudy before injection.
⚠️ Some peptides can be mixed one syringe to reduce the number of injections, but others might lose their effectiveness or cause unwanted reactions. Use the Mixing Chart to help guide your use. Assess reaction separately first, before mixing. If you do mix peptides in a single syringe, it is important to inject them within a few minutes after drawing them up.
